To ensure you have an effective Crackerjacks profile simply follow the steps below. How does this benefit you? Your profile is your own personalised marketing tool to source contract work, so it pays to complete this and ensure it is updated regularly.
- Key Skills – Include an accurate list of the key skills you have developed throughout your career. This is what employers see when they are searching for contractors. This would include your core skills as well as the applications you have used. For example, if you were an Accountant it would be important to include software have used e.g SAP. So say what you have to offer and say it quickly!
- Employment History – Include a full employment history of your past roles. This can be done by copying and pasting content from your CV.
- Role Titles – When entering your employment history ensure you select as many ‘Role Titles’ as applicable as this enables your details to be found in more business searches.
- Referees – Add two referees who can comment on your work place performance – once this is done you are assigned a rating which makes your profile more valuable to businesses and allows your details to be picked up in searches.
Once you have followed these steps you are set to apply for roles listed on Crackerjacks and have more chance at having your profile requested by companies searching for contractors.
